Planetside Arena Work

These are screenshots of Planetside Arena, one of the games I worked on while at Daybreak Game Company. I was part of a small art team so I was able to try out a large variety of new techniques, and programs that I had never tried before. I was just an Associate Artist so my work consisted of polishing/modifying existing assets, and creating some new environment props as well. Any buildings or effects in these screenshots were done by other talented artists on the team.

These trees were designed and created using Speedtree.  The crystals inside the trees were made by another artist.

My beginning months mostly consisted of re-sculpting rocks to match the evolving style the art team had.

The broken warpgate arm was one of the first hard surface pieces I was allowed to modify to match the wartorn aesthetic of it's biome.
